Historic Athearn Models & Blue Box Kits: Historic Athearn models, commonly referred to by modelers as “Blue Box” kits, along with MDC/Roundhouse rolling stock and locomotive kits, have been out of production since 2009. Due to the age of these products and the fact that they are no longer manufactured, replacement parts for these early-release kits are unfortunately no longer available. Additionally, many currently available parts are not compatible with older Blue Box kits because of significant advancements in tooling, engineering, and design made by the Athearn team over the years.

Shipping & International Support: At this time, Horizon Hobby is only shipping within the United States and Canada. Customers located outside these regions are encouraged to use our Shop Local feature to contact their local authorized Athearn retailer or distributor for assistance with warranty replacement parts and service support.
