The Spektrumâ„¢ Smart 30A Power Supply is our first switching DC power supply to feature Spektrum Smart Charging and Battery Technology. Robust and powerful, this 540W unit easily converts normal AC current from a standard 120V wall outlet to 30A of clean DC current that will make your chargers thrive. Spektrum Smart technology delivers a cooling fan that features on-demand operation to make the unit as quiet as possible. You also get protection against over temperature, over loading and short circuits. Current status and adjustable output voltage are easily viewed on a large LCD display that, all-combined, help you make the most intelligent charging power decisions possible.

One typical use for the DC power supply is for those that prefer a DC charger to use at the field or other places without AC power. They then use the DC power supply at home.

Two S1500 chargers at maximum output would require 500W each, for a total of 1,000W. The 30A power supply would not be able to provide this much power.
