Overview
With the 1/25 scale PCF Mk I, Pro Boat honors the heroes who piloted Patrol Craft Fast (PCF) vessels on patrols during the Vietnam war. Veterans, their families, and history enthusiasts will all appreciate the depth and the accuracy of its detail. On the water, Pro Boat engineering delivers outstanding performance for all RC boat enthusiasts to admire!
The real PCF boats — also known as Swift Boats — were all-aluminum, 50-foot craft developed by request of the U.S. Navy specifically to combat insurgent activities. Initially used to patrol coastal areas, PCF missions later expanded to interior waterways where they carried Vietnamese forces, blocked enemy arms and munitions, and transported SEAL teams for counter-insurgency operations.
Though detailed enough to simply enjoy on display, the Pro Boat PCF Mk I is also equipped to execute daring missions at your local lake or pond. Two 390 brushed motors with aluminum heatsinks supply the muscle to move easily at scale speeds and maneuver with finesse. The included Spektrum SLT3 radio and 40-amp ESC/RX 2-in-1 provide dependable control of the on-board electronics — and let you operate the boat's LED lights right from the transmitter.
In addition to the lights, there are plenty more faithful scale features on the molded ABS hull. These include a .50 caliber gun on the bow, M60 machine guns, and a .50mm gun on the transom, plus life rings, docking tires, light pods, antennas, rail chains, and a flag. Eager to take its accuracy to an even higher level? The PCF Mk I comes ready to upgrade for an optional rotating machine gun turret (SMPSX108 Micro servo and SPMA3008 Y-harness attached to the steering channel required).
Out of the box, the Pro Boat PCF Mk I arrives expertly painted and finished with an accurate military trim scheme that enhances the boat's scale realism and its ready-to-run ease. Just add your choice of 3S LiPo battery and charger and you're ready for patrol!

DETAILED ABS HULL
The PCF Mk I commands attention on the water and on display. Its highly detailed, molded ABS hull features many scale accessories, including a .50 caliber gun on the bow, M60 machine guns, and a .50mm gun on the transom.

CONTROLLABLE LEDs
Working LEDs with a magnetic, hands-free wire connector provide an extra touch of exciting scale realism during your nighttime patrols. The lights can be turned on and off from the included SLT3 transmitter.
DUAL 390 MOTORS
The power of dual installed 390 brushed motors enables the PCF Mk I to move easily at scale speeds and maneuver with finesse. Dual aluminum heatsinks keep the motors cool and increase their operating life.
SPEKTRUM 40A ESC/RX 2-IN-1
In addition to providing dependable control of the on-board electronics, the installed Spektrum 40 amp ESC/Rx 2-in-1 has an LED channel that lets you operate the boat's lights from the transmitter.
INCLUDED AND OPTIONAL SCALE DETAILS
Many molded accessories are included — life rings, docking tires, light pods, antennas, and rail chains — plus a flag. To take realism to the next level, the PCF Mk I comes ready to upgrade for an optional rotating machine gun turret (SMPSX108 Micro servo and SPMA3008 Y-harness required, sold separately).
SUBMERGED PROPULSION SYSTEM
The propulsion system of the real PCF Mk I used twin submerged propellers. The submerged prop of this 1/25 scale model gives it the same driving characteristics as the 1:1 boat.
SUBMERGED RUDDER SYSTEM
The submerged rudder system of the PCF Mk I adds to the scale realism and while steering the boat with authority.
SPEKTRUM SLT3 3-CHANNEL RADIO
The included Spektrum 3-channel SLT3 transmitter gives you a solid connection for controlling your PCF Mk I. Its third channel lets you remotely turn the vessel's working lights on and off.
BOAT STAND
Pro Boat includes a convenient stand for the PCF Mk I that can be used for display or to cradle the boat while in storage.

No, the motors can not be controlled separately. Yes it has reverse but boats do not back up well.
The PCF Mark I 24” would probably make a good retrieval boat. If you end up doing this, we'd love to see some pics on any of our Social Media pages! RCNation is a great place to share and collaborate with fellow RC'ers.
If you want to control the turret separately it will require a new radio system. If you want to keep with the stock radio system, A Y-Harness will let you do that, the turret will follow the commands of your steering inputs.
