The Seattle and North Coast Railroad had a unique operation. According to Wikipedia, it had no outside connection to a mainline RR. It instead used barges to send and receive freight between Seattle and Port Townsend, Washington. In the early 1980âs, SNCT purchased 3 ex-BN F7Aâs for use on their system.
